"Going For More"

TEXT: Daniel 11:32
32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. NKJV

OBJECTIVE: To awaken the Church and provoke them to move forward to take hold of God’s promise of the “Double Blessing” in this season
EXPLOIT – a deed or act, especially one marked by heroism, daring, skill, or brilliancy; it is also a notable act
Know your God – knowing God implies covenant. Without knowledge of covenant, and what it means, you will fall to worldly flattery and influences. The next thing you will do is commit evil against the covenant Psalm 89:34; Genesis 15:17
Be Strong – To be strong is to fasten upon; hence, to seize, be strong (figuratively, courageous, causatively strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain, conquer:
I. Essentials for Obtaining MORE in this Season
a. You must know who you are and why you here. Acts 17:26
If you don’t know who you are, somebody else will tell you. (Matt 16:18)
You must know the purpose for the anointing (Is 10:27) on your life (Jesus, Luke 4:18; John 14:12)
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,” Acts‬ ‭17:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew‬ ‭16:17-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” Isaiah‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
““The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;” Luke‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
12 ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John‬ ‭14:12-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
b. You must KNOW you are in the right season at the right time. (Eccl. 3:1)
Ignorance of divine visitation does not excuse you from your assignment because God will always have a prophetic voice in the land to declare, “It’s Time!” (Luke 19:44)
“and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”” Luke‬ ‭19:44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“The right thing at the wrong time will only bring sudden frustration to your life”
c. You must be CONNECTED with the right people (others who desire to be used by God to accomplish Kingdom business!)
God will give you “holy hook-ups” to accomplish exploits (Proverbs 22:29)
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.” Proverbs‬ ‭22:29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Moses had Joshua, Aaron and Hur; Jesus had the disciples; David had his mighty men.
You will always be able to identify your hook-ups because they will be looking to go higher. If you are an eagle, you need to hang with the eagles!
d. You must be willing to go to battle for what has been PROMISED…even if alone.
  • Many will show up at the victory celebration, but few will participate in the battle (AND THAT’S OK)
  • Many will abandon in the night seasons of your life and return for morning celebration
  • The disciples abandoned Jesus at Gethsemane but later resurfaced after the resurrection
e. Stay focused and determined on what you have been called to do, for the dream killers will show up to discourage you and get you off your road to fulfill your destiny (Philippians 3:13-14)
13 “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The devil wants to destroy your today because he has heard about your tomorrow and he has projected the outcome your year
  1. Joseph and his brothers
  2. Saul and David
  3. Herod heard of “the King” and sought to destroy Him before He could move into His destiny
